Genuinely stumped on who to vote for here.
I actually cooked a dish for this round of the comp but wasn't happy with the outcome so didn't enter it.
My default choice was pork with apple/pears from garden but this was covered really well by 2 others and I'd love to sample Pixel Snapper & Shirt's dishes.
I'd also like to try Ali's chop with the salsa which looks great. Plus Bob's lamb looks interesting and tasty. Both dishes I want to try making now.
I think I'm going to go with a pud this time though. Vanessa's pavlova looks to be something I could happily knock back and demand seconds of, but I like the look of Madbadger's Pie with the ice cream. I've never made ice cream and so with the combination of nice presentation, plus delicious looking ice cream I reckon 'only a pie can satisfy' so this is where my vote will go. But a very tough decision.

Thanks Zep. First time I have made ice cream myself. Took ages getting all the pips out of the blackberry coolie, but well worth the effort in the end. Tasted excellent. Worked very well with the backberries in the pie.

Melman Giraffe said: VB for me! Looks yum Thanks MG. It tasted even better than it looked and if anyone fancies doing a pavlova this way, I do urge you to make your own lemon curd as it is out of this world compared to the type in jars. I used lemons grown in our garden too which made it more special! Some lovely dishes this time, I have been lucky enough to eat two different ones!

Pie for me too. I did like Bob's lamb but I am not a fan of straight veg and that was enough to put me off. Sorry Bob!
Any good tips on food photography btw, my pork looks well dry in that one.

Ali's creation for me. We all seem to like different dishes which is good.
No worries Shirt - I like plain veg with a sweet sauce but that is my preference.

I think this is a good selection of dishes, all stuff I would love to eat but seems to have polarised others. No worries on my part as I cook what I enjoy - Ali, next time I'm in the UK, I may have to disuade you regarding apricots as they are angel food not spawn of the devil (IMO).

Shirt for me. Because:
1) I know that pork belly in the UAE is a forbidden fruit. 2) He will buy me a pint. 3) Looks 'ansome.
