Bentley Turbo R Long Wheel Base - 20th Birthday
Discussion
I could have bought one of these about 6 months ago for a very small amount. It did need a little work to bring it upto scratch as it hadn't had the TLC that it really needed and that quite frankly terrified me when I researched these cars a little (didn't have the correct Avon tyres fitted either)
Absolute monster of a car and my LS400 looked like a toy parked beside it.
More pictures of your car if you don't mind?

One more from today - few bits of paint needed on front valance and chrome strip on the rear bumber has faded -probably caused by exhaust gases:Absolute monster of a car and my LS400 looked like a toy parked beside it.

This taken after a weekend of washing/waxing:
This arrived last year, but there is something wonderful about a Turbo R and I get more pleasure from driving it than the "newcomer":
Hope I don't come across as a show off, but I am a fan of Bentley Motor Cars.

Our Turbo R long wheel base is 20 years old this week and after a drive this afternoon mileage is approaching 166,000 - car is a delight to drive and is as good now as it was in 1992.
Wafting pleasure
Looks wonderful, and its great that you still enjoy it so much.Wafting pleasure
Cheers,
Andy

The Black big B on the hub - was that factory extra or done after ? - not seen many like that
tali1The black hubs were on the car when we took delivery (second owners) - the previous/first owner specified the following:
Long wheel base.
Brewster green.
Parchment hide.
Top roll in Spruce hide.
Conifer green carpets. and matching lambswool rugs.
Parchment headlining.
Padded picnic tables.
We bought it in February 1994 and the car was showing 22,000 miles.
In the 144,000 miles in our ownership it has been superb with only minor "tweeks" and services - some fine detailing is required to make it perfect but the interior has a wonderful patina.
1995 factory recall notice in 1995 for an issue with the gear selector actuator.

I'm impressed that you have remembered 20th anniversary - don't think many owners of any car do at all.

I have a file 6 inches think of paperwork/receipts.
One of these days I will work out what you have asked for.
