After years of ankle problems, sprains, pain in achilles and calves I have finally managed to get an answer other than here is a prescription for ibuprofen, take 3 x 600mg a day for the pain, and lose some weight (made difficult by constant leg pain making exercise uncomfortable)

Diagnosed with arthritis in both ankles, I was referred to podiatry by the physio. They diagnosed me with excess pronation of the ankles which causes undue stress to the ankle and falling arches. I was recommended to get these insoles to support the foot and heel to lessen the impact

As a result i got my insoles this week. I can report three full days without painkillers and a much more secure feeling when walking. In essense I don't feel like I am constantly fighting to keep my legs straight.

Bit annoyed that something so simple could maybe have reduced years of pain and discomfort, maybe even slowed down the onset of the arthritis, but at the same time am overjoyed at the difference

So if you have constant calf, achilles and ankle pain I would just like to give these a big thumbs up. I was extremely sceptical about such a small change, and am stunned by the difference biggrin
