don't like the new format ;-(
To get old style :
- Press Home menu - Press Login (top right) - Press classifieds - Click on a model, NOT on the Brand

Yes, but didn;t you find that items would appear in the beta section some hours or even a day before they arrived in the (what is now) the old section?

It did not work perfectly - you might want to speak to Stuart on that front. The whole point of revamping the system, was becuase it was broken. In fact, if you trawl through his posts he did explain all of the issues previously.

I have sold things I didn't want on here and bought things I did on here.
That is all I want from the classifieds - I had no issues with it.

The old version is still there if you want it. I like the new one - I still prefer the old one in a lot of ways (MUCH better for casual browsing), but the new one is needed if you want to be more specific. As the amount of ads increase, it needs to cope with it, otherwise you're wading through a lot of s t to get to things. Granted TVR Classifieds is not really a problem in this respect.

Agree new classifieds are cack.
1 My ad couldn't be submitted for free. 2. It has allgedly been manually listed by admin but still hasn't appeared!! 3. New format Its not user friendly and I couldn't log in using my forum login..I needed an advertisers login?? 4. As the money side of the website has developed the only reason the ads have gotten more unwieldy is due to the massive amount of mundane cars in the mainstream being sold by dealers..if I wanted to see those type of cars I would go on auto traders website!!! Classic and enthusiast cars are now just lost in the myriad of cack for sale which is only beneficial to the web owners selling ad space...
Go back to the old system which wasn't broken..Most on here know which cars they are looking for and don't need an enigma based search engine to find it.

Agree, the new classifieds are s t but understand that they had to re-vamp. What I don't understand is how they've made such a mess of the layout/features etc. Thankfully you can still (for now) browse in the old style.

If the person that had been re vamping the site worked for me after making a mess of it 2/3 times now ,he would be given his p45 and a pat on the back and sent out the front gate. so oi pistonheads there are plenty of computer guys out there that could do this sort of thing with one hand , it could be time for a re shuffle!

Are you lot looking at something different to me? The old classifieds list vehicles by make and model, with a number in brackets stating how many adverts there are. New classfieds have a search engine at the top, with a list of vehicles by make and model, with a number in brackets stating how many adverts there are.

Then click last 24hours,you can't browse like you can on the old one
