Anyone recommend a few? Yellow pages has them I know but after one who will do the job properly. Need a few quotes before I go any further. I don't really know anyone who has had any work done recently to get their input.

Depends what you are building, I assume an extension or something small rather than a big project. A good builder on one project doesn't guarantee a good outcome on the next one! Definitely get at least three quotes though.
I know of one that would be on my list if I was going to do anything again.

Sorry, should have added what I wanted doing. Bit of drainage work from a sloping driveway rather than the big stuff. May get a quote for a patio whilst we are at it.

Had drainage work done, just as described, by Chris Barlow 07971 234786.
Extremely pleased with the work and at a reasonable cost.
