Actually Scuffers most days the other cars don't seem to even have rear view mirrors fitted let alone Honda engines.

ah ha, LL black Europa, very nice. When am I going to meet that car on track to see how much quicker it is than my Europa? In fact when am I going to meet a Honda engined Elise for that matter to have some fun with. Come on guys (and girls), put your cars where they belong.

C43
I track Honda Elise loads

Been out in Lisa's Europa, it is massively faster than a 225bhp Europa (I had mine old Europa on track with hers at Folembray)

The key thing about it, is the quality of mapping and lack of turbo lag. It's pretty much instant delivery and pulls very hard. Lisa like things hard thoughsmile

Just road tested a beautiful Lotus Elan Sprint. I want one!

Wish I could work out how to insert someone elses comments into my post, think I will have to ask my 11 year old to help me out smile

Agreed Lisa's is much faster than standard, but then so is minesmile To be honest Lisa is about 60 - 70 hp up on mine so it should blow it away.

I was at Donnington on Friday and a lot of the Lotus Cup guys were there which made for some interesting running (best track day I have had for a while). Some much quicker than me, both car and driver IMO. But some same speed or slower. Europa relatively quick on the straights until the charge temp comes up. Some corners Europa quicker (especially down the hill and through the old hairpin), some slower but again I just am not as on it as guys who a) race and b) dont mind going off so much.

Chris has one of his heavily modified Europas there and with him driving it is massively quicker, but then it should be as it is a stripped racer with all the bits.

No idea of lap time, if I start getting into lap times and data it is getting too much like work.

cheers

I think there would be several who would be interested to read it too, me included smile Could you include a reasonably standard car if possible as well as any fire-breathing ones you can get your hands on?!

TOAD tv will see what we can do on the big standard front. Fire breathing monsters are easy for us to get hold of. Standard cars less so.

That's mainly because a huge proportion of cars have already been modded in some way. Will do our best though!

We might just have something by the name of Balboni to test in the next few weeks....
