It was announced on Eurodragster today that Steve Tong has died of a Heart Attack aged 63. Steve was a brilliant rider who imported the original Orient Express Funny Bike in the Early 80's. He also had a Suzuki Pro Stock bike and when i packed up racing brought the rolling chassis of my Kawasaki Z1R Pro Stock Cloud Nine. I spent many a happy evening in his old 6 wheeler coach. Steve was a good friend but i sadly lost touch a few years ago. He is joining the paddock upstairs where so many of our racer friends are. God Bless Steve. RIP my friend.

New Steve in the 80's and spent many a happy hour working with him on those old Kwak motors and then firing them up once back in the chassis of "Orient express". Always in that bloody coach where the fumes would make you dizzy and high.
Sad loss.
