Odsal Top roundabout, BD6
Watch the white van and how many lanes they want

Pretty good video for insurance, especially as we also have the bit where they were speeding before to reinforce a claim if they had cut in deeper.

I see a guy was chasing an ambulance on a call and filmed it all, posted it on facebook, and has been sacked.
I would have chosen a more flattering angle.

He's right you know, it is definitely the fastest way to work. [Leeds Bradford Road, 8.55 am. Fire Engine, many years ao].

I guess the difference is that I didn't post it on book face.

Not seeing the problem, personally.

Just picked up one of these for $18 (£11) to see how I get one with one. If it's something I want to use all the time, I'll get a better quality one, but for £11 delivered, it was hard to ignore!

The overwhelming number of 1 star review ratings tell you all you need to know about its reliability and performance.

Chaps, is the 0801 still the camera du jour? I read about a new version coming out... Have all the firmware bugs been ironed out? Want a small fit and forget, looked at the Möbius but looks hard to mount discreetly.

Mobius. With the exception of a minor issue when I first got it mine has performed flawlessly for months now and it's in use in 2 different vehicles every day for around 15 hours at a time. It just works.

I'm looking to get a dash cam, but wanted the style that appears to be a rear view mirror. Has anyone seen/used the Abeo HDVR-150 from KiWAV on Amazon?

It seems to have good reviews, but was interested in more feedback or recommendations for alternatives (I tried searching on here but couldn't find any references to it)
Thanks

I transferred my Roadhawk to my 208 at the weekend. I just need to get some black tape for the mount other than that it's very discreet. Getting permanent cables to it was nice and easy too, I used one of the add a circuit devices to take it straight from the fusebox. There's even a handy cut out in the headlining to feed the wire down from.

Weird, never seen them called that before but seems common place. Always known them as fuse taps myself.

You need to reduce the voltage to around 5 volts, too, so it is not just a direct tap.

Both available on eBay for a pound or two. A fuse tap and a 5v charging adapter.

Thanks for the heads up but the specs on the site says it takes 12v-24v input, it's been working fine for the last few months in my BMW before getting moved to the pug. It doesn't have a usb plug connection so it might be different to others out there.

I've got the hardwiring kit from Roadhawk anyway which has a black box with some electronics in it so I assume that sorts out anything that's needed.

I hadn't read anything other than the post above my own, but that is unusual now, as virtually everything take 5v which is USB power.

Great vid! Must have some shocking tyres on that MX5 to spin off at such a low speed!
Indeed, had the same happen with wifies old MX5 a few years back, I didn't get away so lightly and has put me off running Yokohama's for life. Her latest one is running Bridgestone's with no such problems.
