Bought an 0801 back in December from the highly recommended Chinese place mentioned on this thread, with thousands of eBay feedback. I still don't have it and I'd entrusted them too much it's beyond the time in which I can claim on eBay.

So, avoid e-prance if you ware buying one.

Where did you get the Möbius for 40? Cheapest I can find it is just under 60.

Still trying to decide between Möbius and 0801. Möbius seems better quality but without screen and GPS...

How did you pay? I'm assuming PayPal, however what method of getting the funds into your paypal account did you use?

I've become somewhat of an expert in the matter now. But, the mistake I raised was, having raised a case, believed the seller had shipped a replacement unit and let the case expire. Then the time I had to appeal passed by whilst I was still awaiting the second package.

I've spent hours on the phone to eBay, PayPal and my bank. I've lost my £66

Order another from a different eBay account. If it arrives, claim it didn't. If it doesn't, charge it back.

You can get a clear weatherproof case for them now too, although it doesn't represent amazing value at £20.

I've been eating for the 0801 with the wdr chip doesn't seem to be coming and it has oroblems.


So do I wait a bit more?

Or just get the standard 0801 if so which is the best place reliable/price to get one from?

I bought 2 of these 0801's before Christmas, one with GPS logging and one without, and a Class 6 32gb micro SD card for each.

They have both performed flawlessly (after changing the original Class 10 SD to Class 6). You do just set it up and then leave it in the car (I got ours hard-wired, rather than having to use the cigar lighter socket). I even forget they're there until I hear it turn on and off!

Eletoponline365 is the manufacturer of the Mobius - he is called Peter Xie. I have his personal email address should any problems arise and he is extremely helpful and very customer service dedicated. I bought mine from that link above fyi. As you will see, it has a good following as it says next to the availability that 12,369 have been sold which is pretty impressive.

Note that the USB cig plug/charger only works on 12v. If you are a trucker and stick it in a 24v socket it won't end well. Don't ask me how I know. I wonder if my fellow truckie friend GC8 experienced the same issue?!
