Well, I presume you've already found the B3349?! Back in days of yore, when it was NSL it even had a review on PH!
Follow the B3349 south of the M3 down to Alton. This used to be an A road (A32), and so is a pretty good road with overtaking opportunities. From Alton you can take the A339 to Basingrad - it's a very well known 'good road' and has plenty of bikes and Talivan attention as a result.
Further afield, take the B3051 from Tadley to Kingsclere and then on SW. You can really open it up after Kingsclere. Either take the left fork to Overton or carry on to Whitchurch (Roman Road!)

Yes indeed - mixture of 40/50 now I think, not used it recently as we've moved house. There's a 90 degreemcorner just north of Hook which is lethal, I think it's marked with a recommended 20, heed the warning!
Don't speed too much on the a33 dual carriageway, TVP traffic base is at the top end. The A33 between Riseley and Bsingstoke also now has lots of 40/50 limits and is heavily policed by Talivans
