It's been quiet in here today!

Hope everyone is out buying / dismantling / building / driving their P&Js.

Mrs G and I have signed for a new flat this afternoon, which means we've got the joy of housemoving to look forward to at the end of the month.

Puts an end to the prospect of a clandestine Mk2 gti purchase... But I'm getting a nice big underground parking space out of it, and a cracking French restaurant across the road, plus a rather good view up the Thames, so not all bad!

And the old Merc gets to prove its worth as a removal van!

I found the right wheels for my 964 and have completely redone the suspension (rebushed + KWv1s) and just wanted to share.

It has a cream se interior, heated with lumbar support, but manual adjustment. Looks like they will clean up really well. Oem head unit and changer too.

We really are in the golden age of motoring. I fear it is all downhill from here.

more than happy to do a deal with the head unit! Shame about the interior. I guess the 4 seat setup of the Cab is unique and id run into MOT issues with 5 seats.

IIRC, the manifold and system are the same but the back box on the 328 is a twin pipe outlet? (which is fine for a 323)

good news. I'd be after the whole lot (bar manifold - unless you'd need it?)! It's debadged and the straight 6 sounds fab currently but have a massively annoying rattle from the cat twin backbox gets a thumbs up!

O/T I managed to kill our company Volvo V70 D5 AWD on the M25 today. Its a '55' and has been remapped.

It totally lost power, almost like a pipe had come off for the turbo? It had no boost at all. Foot flat it took 10 secs to go from 60 to 65. Managed to limp it back to the office.

No smoke, no messages. Left it for half an hour and it now runs ok? random.

Yes, they're not as simple as being directly interchangeable, that plus 323s have a single tailpipe and 328s double.
