Anyone going?
Or anyone fancy it?
Talking to the chairman of the DPRAC (a club run at Donington Park that helps out with donations to the safety team there and awards club level trophies and also help financially with drivers/riders that end up in hospital locally after racing accidents at Donington that can't get home) they are a little light on numbers for this years trackday and are opening up the chance to join the club and sign up for the trackday all at once for the quite frankly bargain price of £45
The day is split between cars and bikes so there is a little less track time than a normal bike or car day but at the price what's to grumble about. wink

Looks to be a good deal, I saw this the other day but unfortunately don't have a car suitable at the moment!

Enjoy smile

Have they changed the format ?

Was a member for several years attended one "track day" and the cars where sent out behind a pace car, bikes had a free for all, is this still the case ?

Not been like that for a number of years. wink
Cars and bikes are split into groups and then it just runs as a 'normal' trackday with it then running in sessions.
A little less track time than a full car or bike day due to the split but considering you'd pay £100 for the cheapest 'evening' track day at less than half that for a day is a bargain, and the numbers usually thin out in the afternoon. driving

Can't see on the website where you can join - presume you need to?

Yes, you'd need to be member, £15 for the rest of the year and £30 for the trackday.
Should be a link somewhere on the website...
