Actually from the looks of that particular project, you could fit any engine you like, up to and including a Rolls Royce Merlin V12, although I don't think it will match up to the gearbox very well.......
And I really like the 'invisible chassis' look....

The specification says it has 2 doors. Are they still on the barn?

I could be mistaken but I think there is more work involved in getting this one sorted than is apparent at first sight. There could even be some parts missing

I've studied the photos and believe you have a very rare works prototype - driven by Carlos Fandango in the 1978 Le Mans. The car fell off a lorry on it's way back to race HQ with many parts lost ..
The remaining parts as shown in your photo were stored in a barn with two doors substantiating my research.
I would hate for you to loose out financially on such an important and historical find ......
I will send you a substantial amount of Greek currency when it becomes available later this year if you would hold the car on reserve for me ...
Will it be exhibited at the NEC in November ??

looks like a factory "lightweight" model, wouldnt be surprised if it has substantial race history.

Should be "some parts" rather than "some parts missing". FFG

Why can people NEVER tell the TRUTH???? There is no way is that a 6J wheel, its only 5.5J!!!!!. I realise the other 4 wheels are missing but was the original air from them still in the barn? It will be obvious if it is, it will smell fishy , just like you ad and be approximately 24psi. Come on Neilswitch, less of the bully plops.

I presume the wheel and tyre is ZZZZ peed rated and complies with all European regulations and the wonderful roll Bar fully conforms and is approved by FIA AA RAC BBC CNN NBC and of course the GAMEKEEPER and would DG have any matching quality parts that would complete the project. By any chance does the log book (barn records) have someone living at Toad Hall as a previous owner as that might explain a lot. Andrew
