Hi there, I have the slk 55amg 2010 and bhp is 360 and torque is 376
The new ones are 420 bhp and torque is 398. I an guessing that the new one
has lower torque than bhp because of weight.
Thinking of changing to the new one to get the extra bhp but has anyone else upgraded to the newer one?
What I would like to know do you feel any power difference or any other differences
Also I have been told the new ones do not sound as "v8ish" when driving normally until the
butterflies in the exhaust open and it comes back on to the 8 pots when you plant it.

Ps do AMG do any power upgrades for the old ones (electronics wise)

I thought I read that you can switch off cylinder deactivation by selecting sport plus mode on the transmission?
