AMDBSNick: So tell me Nick as I haven't quite understood from the various posts I have read, do you have a garage or not? ))
Well Neil. I used to have an old shed that I wanted to turn into a garage and study. Sadly the wkers at the local council didn't feel this was of any benefit to our listed property. The plus side is The Moose now has the largest study in the world. Soon it will have a sofa bed in it so that I can decamp when the kids get too loud. I will be able to lay in bed and look at my car 897sma said:
Not long now, I bet you are more giddy than a 5 year old on Christmas morning?
The weekend before I picked my 9 up I was so on edge, I was tense, nervous, excited. I almost literally couldn't wait, calling the dealer to see if I could have it now.... And I was trading in another Aston!. I have never felt such excitement for an object. For weeks I would look of the window just to see it on the drive.
I hope it turns out to be as fulfilling for you as you expected (deserve) after such a long search.
BTW, why not come and show it off and have a run out with us on the 20/21 of this month?. It's a great way to meet some of the contributors to this forum
Giddy is an understatement, even my wife thinks somethings wrong The weekend before I picked my 9 up I was so on edge, I was tense, nervous, excited. Gottttttttttttt itttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt (yes i feel like a child with a toy!).
Weather wasn't great part of the drive back, but what a car! Bloody fantastic!
Car is covered in water at the moment but as soon as it's off will take some pictures and upload
btw mine says "Pure Aston Martin" at startup on dash so maybe is an 2011MY?

I believe that is correct. Another way of telling them apart is the ignition on message. On MY10 or earlier I believe it was "Power, Beauty, Soul" which changed on MY11 to "Pure, Aston, Martin"
My early MY10 DBS says Pure Aston Martin (hated the previous on my vantage!) Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
