Thanks guys, very very happy with it Will have to search the forum for premium audio equalizer settings, sound is a bit flat at the moment.

Bit off topic here, but -3 for centre speaker setting in the recommended settings? I actually set it to +3/+4 to "lift" the sound in the car.

Audio is always going to be completely subjective. I suppose it depends on a number things including the type of music you listen to and at what volume, etc. (cue comments of "I only listen to the roar of my exhaust" or "I find the music clips they play on Radio4 dramas rather distracting and turn it down")

Those settings above are mine - I posted them on AMOC for all to use after an lengthy audio setup session and they were added to the FAQ here as quite a few people had started to use them too and found that they were a good improvement over the default settings. I am on my 3rd Aston now (all have had Premium) and I still use exactly the same settings myself. The centre speaker should be turned down as tends to interfere with the stereo imagery at default levels or above, however at lower levels it can still assist by adding a little additional surround depth. Why not try adopting all the settings exactly as documented and see what it sounds like. If you dont like it then you can always reset to defaults or just adapt to your own perferences. (If you are interested here are the two threads I posted on AMOC about my exploration of the 700W system and the above settings) http://www.amoc.org/forum/index.php?topic=14976.0http://www.amoc.org/forum/index.php?topic=15532.0

AdamV12V said: Will definitely give it a try, thanks. I'm assuming your listening to high quality CD's? I'm using my ipod/mp3's so I suppose the quality can vary greatly. I'll try something high quality.

Lovely lovely car! Welcome to our club. Regarding the Audio system, get A BR exhaust conversion done . If you do you won't bother with the sound from your speakers because you will have a mighty sound of your own.
