Just looking at Tams ! I want to drive one .I may cash the premium bonds in .cool

What is the true bhp on these 3.6 speed six engines not what TVR made up !

Still trying to get the handling right on my car and get the Measquirt sorted and it`s looking a bit tired ,needs carpets and a bit of paint work . ...How much more do i spend !

With a recent new engine fitted I would say it is a good price for the car.

I test drove one a week ago. Excellent steering and everything feels a bit lighter and more modern. I put a post up and someone sprints one and first time out took 1.5 seconds off a personal best on a short sprint.

Know what you mean. That one has a TVR Power warranty though so less of a worry! It also had a bit more low down torque than I was expecting. I couldn't put my foot down though

The TVR Power engines are proven to be very reliable I wouldn't worry about it,If serviced correctly and looked after you should get many many miles out of it. Dom gives a 100,000 mile warranty with his rebuilds so he is confident they are going to last!.

Did I miss the mention if air con in the advert? When I last looked at pricing, air con carried a hefty premium.

So whats a 2003 Tamora with the build worth compared to a good 2003 there about without a rebuild .

What type of mileage can you get when cruising ? and is there alot of difference next to the 4l .
Just went a meassage to the owner ,the Two year warranty is over .

Cant answer too much on the Tamora but ive got a T350. I can get 22 to 24 on a run but usually around 17 to the gallon. My insurance is £300 including track days and guarenteed value of £26500. Ive recently had a rebuild at 45k and the engine gave 339hp and 280torque only being restricted by crap mapping. Ive had a chim, cerb and now T350. They are all totally different. Compared to a well set up chim you will notice the speed six engine has no low down torque but once up in the rev range they do fly. Go and try one but dont just drive it at 3000 revs and think it is flat as nothing happens much below 4500 then it takes off. Make sure it is fully warmed up before though.

Typically get in the mid 20s. Averaged 27 mpg over a 3000 mile road trip.

I can't give figures for fuel consumption on my Tamora but I never have to keep looking at the fuel gauge like I did in the Cerb, which for my rather meagre budget means it's a much more useable car. You'd be pleased in that respect coming from a V8 possibly.

???? My 3.6 I averaged 21 with a mix of normal and spirited driving. Best I ever got was 25.
The 4.3 gives me 18-20 now.

Best I ever got out of the Tamora before the upgrade was 26mpg.
Now the best I get out of the 4.5 is 24mpg on the economy map but I have to drive like I'm driving "Miss Daisy".
Worst has been 12mpg
