Just looking in MCN the wife just got me and my god they are making a f k up of the looks . I loved the speed triple 2008-11 looks. They they added th daft headlights and now on the street triple moved to a under slung exhaust which is horrid. And just seem to be chucking bits of plastic all over the place. And I worry they will do the same to the speed. What the hell do triumph think they are doing. Or is it just me?

Not every bike they make looks s t I love the 675 Daytona. The new triple is gash though just looks like a hornet which for me is one of the most yawntastic bikes going.

Looks ok to me. They've got rid of those incongruous big silver cans hanging under and to the sides of the seat. Frame and and subframe are quite 675R looking. Banana swingarm nice too.
Only really the exhaust that looks a bit gash - shame they couldn't have made it a bit more of a feature to accentuate the 'triple' theme like MV Agusta have. Triumph are quite good at ripping off other people's styling features if they are popular - why not there too?
Lights have grown on me on the new speed triple so I don't think they look too bad now.
My only issue is they look a bit weedy. They need to muscle up the design a bit.

It'll be alright when they've finished building it.

Urgh. It has gone from a bike that looks like it would eat your children whilst bumming your grandmother violently, to...a mosquito. Great design.

I thought manufacturers had been buggering up the looks with plastic and overstyled exhausts for about 15 years now .... bring back twin round headlamps and round exhausts

Their accessories approach is not too dissimilar to BMW.
Personally I preferred my 09 model in the looks department. Much classier for a bike like this.
