When I did the ASDA day earlier this year, I spoke to my insurers and they said it counted as a track day, so I insured as such.
Competition Car Insurance and REIS are the two I would speak to.

My insurance company, when I have done Sporting Bears stuff the last couple of years, have always said it's OK and as long as I had (I forget the exact wording) something like Class 1 business use, then I was OK as it's not classed as hire for reward since it's voluntary.
I imagine all insurance companies will differ but I got a note out of them to that effect.

Good to see several familiar names of very successful drivers on the list! Does anyone know which circuit configuration is being used?

Both ccts the 100 and the 200 are being used, depending on cars and drivers ability.
The track time will be well regulated as normal track days , remember we are taking the public around and not mates so hopefully all cars should be safe n sound.
