Apols if I've asked this before - I'm pretty sure that E36 and earlier 3 series needed a BMW only reset tool.
But, does a standard ODBC2 diagnostic tool work on E46/E60 cars onwards?

RR Yep if it has the standard connector - it is from 2001 onwards I believe. Mine works for E46 and E92

Awesome thanks.
Now I have to learn all about CBS instead of Inspection I,II etc. Been a while since I've worked on BMWs!
