I watched as the Monaro departed the street for the last time this morning. Gone to a new home waaay up north.
Sad to see her go but she's gone to a good home.

If you look in the classifieds, this is what you are up against: 54 plate 5.7 VXR with under 40k on the clock for £11.5k or 07 plate 6.0 VXR with under 65k on the clock for £10k ???? Yeah the new owner knows about the forum. Seemed liked a good guy.
The car has gone away up to Lossiemouth so still within the clan.
I've got a slow-time V8 project in the garage so that will fuel my desire for now.
VXR8 further down the road (unless a good Falcon rears its head) but not for a while.
I've got a new job to settle into yet and a daily commute through Edinburgh city centre so it'll be two wheels for me in the short term and a new Scirocco for the bad weather. Hardly a snorting beast but a nice car.
I'll be back, just like last time. It's just a case of when....
This is still a great forum. Good info and good people. Thank you and good luck to you all.

hi guys,
i would like to thank woody for a car that turns heads and puts the biggest smile on my face every time i sit in it and start her.
i know its always sad when you sell a motor that you care about and have spent alot of time getting it to the way you want it,
but on the plus side i have a motor that has been well looked after with all the important bits done. again thanks woody.
oh and the t/c button i think will leave it on want the tyres to last at least 2000m lol.
great forum also, am sure will be pestering you guys about stupid things alot.

Well done on your purchase.  The clan is probably the most close-knit sub group on here, so you're in safe hands. Post your questions, there will always be someone on here that can nswer, or point you in the right direction for an answer.

Hi,
Son's car go's on Monday traded in to a forum member I think, due to the unsurmountable BFG headache he has now got a R32, not that he wanted it to go but he was left with no alternative ?I could not have it back as i am now poor.

I didn't want to spoil the fun of first introductions to you Paul!
Glad to hear you're loving it Dave. I found a few receipts that weren't in the folder I gave you so ill forward them on and email you details for brake pads etc. You'll be glad to know that some of your cash has meant there'll be a nice GSXR in the garage as of Tuesday.
My heart sank as I heard you leave (well I heard every gear change for almost the first mile) but great to hear its keeping a grin on your face.
