Would love some input to help me decide between a couple of watches. It will be my first watch in this price band and any info or opinions will be greatly appreciated.

Going pre-owned is definitely a way to have your cake and eat it
The Speedmaster has the history and provenance and would be the more "obvious" choice, the Sinn (brand) still has a degree of history but the individual model can't compete. Both will be well made, both look great in my eyes but I do think that they'll wear differently; the Sinn is quite tall relative to its case diameter, the SM a little wider and flatter. The Omega you can try on in just about any large town, the Sinn will be a little trickier but Jura do have a returns service, I'd check with them though if that still applies to watches that they have to order in.
