I saw a thread the other day with a few members detailing what they paid to insure their M5's and with whom. I just can't find the thread now, can anyone help?

Alternatively, where is the most sympathetic (good value) M5 insurance to be sourced?

Thanks

Admiral seem to come out quite well for anything powerful - cheapest for 3 years on my GTR.

Admiral for me too on a Multicar policy. Quite reasonable at £1200 for a 26 year old considering the car.

Admiral here too, just got my premium down with them after a chat, even though I had to add a speeding ticket. Try confused.com and see if they're near the top.

The problem I have is that this is an additional car I'm adding to the fleet and don't have any no claims to use. I therefore need a good broker who understands the risk (minimal) and can talk to and explain the position to the underwriters.

For kit cars there are a few specialists brokers like Adrian Flux and 2gether insurance who specialise in the kit car market. I've also used competition car insurance.

Any specialist companies for M cars?

LV ended up the best value deal. What appears good cover for £450, 12k miles inc business travel.
