That's the one I post a few pages back but it came up as sold the next day, DVLA says it's a one owner in silver. Must be worth a look at that price nice being a one owner car.

It looks yellow to me, but maybe the photos are just rubbish.

Unless my jaundiced view of the world is getting out of control, that VX up the gumtree is yellow. That wasn't a standard colour option, was it?

The owner had it resprayed yellow, in the previous ad he mentioned it being done, they never made yellow ones.

That one makes YAJ, my ratty as fook but very quirky and lovable 1300 Coupe look well posh.

It looks a bit of a two and eight.

Is the orange a factory colour? Saw one just the same in the peak district last weekend.

There were some orange ones about, but earlier, I think.

YAJ the Koop of Krarp is resplendent in blue bubble finish at the momemt. I did some rattlecanning with Ford Midnight Blue, and then it pished down. Top results!

Perhaps this has been posted earlier, but I noticed today in C&SC a VX HPE sold at Brightwells

http://classiccars.brightwells.com/viewdetails.php...
In the Stondon museum since 2001, so might well have needed a bit of tittivating.....however glad I only noticed it now, otherwise I might have had a storage problem on my hands. Same colour as my VX HPE of many years ago. Also, the "LKO" number plates were on some press cars, were they not?

Very nice I would have bought that one, at that price a bargain.

Great colour! That looks fabby, subject to internal engine yuckies from standing for years (unless the museum turned it over every now and then).

A very good price indeed, I bet they don't struggle to get it going again, seeing things like the shiny jubilee clip still visible.

Also visible that vapor extraction pump.. I'd forgotten about that bloody thing, source of much frustration on both my cars, a fuel vapor extraction device that dies after prolonged exposure to fuel vapors...

Cheers guys, it's a little rough around the edges but runs REALLY well.
It'll have to wait in line now to be done though!
Really couldn't not buy it at that price even though it's not what we went to buy.

Enjoy it! It looks to be missing its chin spoiler and have a non VX bonnet, but those are details.
