That's a fair price if it's immaculate.

Otherwise, 11k just for the rarity value

I think that would be more than fair if £13.5k was the total figure - but with VAT will be £16.2k

Yes, I noticed that and amended my post.

It could be that the car has only ever been owned by companies, but if not then the garage can only charge VAT on their profit (as they have to with all purchases), so they may be boosting their profit at the suggestion that the extra is going to the VAT man.
