Good run out to Cosford today, think the S's outnumbered the Chimaeras (or at least equalled) smile

S2Mike mentioned a monthly "Breakfast Club" at Shelsey Walsh hill climb curcuit, clicky, if the weather is any where near as nice as today I'm going for a look, anyone else fancy it ?

Sorry we left without you Mike but had no idea if you'd be back in 5 mins or 5 hours!

Great idea for a meet up.

Probably a bit far for us (from Nottm) but if anyone fancies a future meet this side of Brum we'd be up for it.

Just found you on here, I have just posted on the original thread.
Great day fantastic place, thanks. Yes just missed you then took a wrong turn,so explored a little more of the countryside.
Shelsley Walsh Breakfast Club, will be a great one, as long as the weather is good. Can be as many as 120 cars Ferrari Jag Aston Lotus, plus a TVR or 3. Be sure to register you intent to attend so they can cater for everyone, breakfast is sensational. Walk the course, soak up the petrol fumes. Mmmmmmmmmmm.

I've registered, but it's Oulton Park on Sat, supporting N-TEL, then Shelsley on Sun. Weather permitting. ( Not going if it's dry! smile
Anyone know the entrance fee to Shelsley? Will there be any racing, or an opportunity to try the hill? If it's just walking the course, I bags starting from the top. I'm getting too old for all this competitive stuff.
See y'all
Glen

Edited to correct typo / sperllin mastooks usw.

says on the shelsey site that entry is free
http://www.shelsley-walsh.co.uk/events/content.asp...

with this being the last one of the year there could well be some decent interest and some cool cars turning up

P'raps I can get a lie-in in Monday.
Unless it's sunny again, then it's the Cat & Fiddle beckoning again.
I hate it when it's sunny, costs me a fortune in petrol, but at least I'm doing my bit for global warmingsmile

im picking up my m8 nr Dursley and joining M5 @ J13 or travelling up the A38
so was wondering does anyone want to meet up - say at Strensham Services maybe or somewhere along the A38 ?

for anyone else not coming in same direction (or in alternative convoys) praps we could all meet up close by to the site, so we can all arrive and then park up together ?

Any idea what time you might be at Strensham? If I get all the little jobs done I want on Saturday we should be coming along too (and we've registered).

Correct, the entry is free, but you have to try the breakfast, it is optional but after a hoon through the lanes £6 is a bargain, all freshly cooked while you watch, bacon sausage fried bread or toast, egg, tomato, beans and hash browns, tea is thrown in (not literaly)
Parking is in the paddock some of which is covered, as can be seen on the website, if you dont fancy the chances of the weather the guy at the gate can be persuaded to let you park under cover, he wanders round with a camera as well so you could have your shiny pride and joy on next months website.
Sorry no racing on the hill, but you can walk it, the paddock is at the bottom of the hill, and it is blinkin steep, I have walked it 3 times now so will watch all you guys staggering or rolling back down. If you or your passenger is interested there is a working water mill on site as well that can be explored, so with sunshine it should be a good morning 9am to 12noon remember so no lie ins.
Its not just cars either a local bike club usually call in mid morning for breakfast.
Hope to see you there.

LMAO cheeky!

When you're used to waking up at 11 AM to tea and toast in bed on a Sunday morning "Breakfast" takes on a different meaning..
