Good job by Webber. Solid start for tomorrow, and no Grosjean in sight.

Vettel didn't sound happy about only being second there.

God Lewis is an odd ball. Does anyone like him in the paddock? Glasses straight on

If I recall correctly, there was a replay of Massa sitting on the exit of one of the corners in front of Vettel? Massa looked very slow there, so maybe Vettel thinks he was on an outlap and blocking rather than a flying lap.

Great lap by Mark, top 5 should be interesting tomorrow. Hard luck Jenson, should have kept his foot in like the others.

Ahaha toys out the pram from fingers. It sounded like "Why didn't you tell me about Massa?" The local guys thought it might have been "Mark's lap"
Oh yes in the interviews he's confirmed Massa slightly infringed him.
Did you see the look on his face by the weight station?

Gaz. said: Lewis scrapes through into P2 in 16th (and Mclaren wonder why he's leaving) but Alonso only nabbed 15th by using a set of supersofts. Clearly nothing to do with the car........ Next year will be interesting to see how he manages without the quickest car.

Bugger; missed it. Lewis interview sounds like it was an interesting quali.
Oh, and Lewis, you're from Stevenage, not LA; sort your accent out.

If you spent as much time as he does in America your accent would change too, you can blame the press and Nicole for this.

What were McL thinking of? That was too close in Q1 for Lewis.
The RBs will have a significantly reduced advantage during the race with the restriction on DRS so it could be interesting. Vettel is in a bit of a quandry for the first corner. He needs to keep in front of Alonso and with LH on the less dusty side (and just the one support race) it could be tight. It could be a WDC deciding moment.
Mind you, if LH fluffs the start it could be even better.
It looks like it will be an interesting race tomorrow (for a change).

more chance of Webber fluffing the start, the only question is which way Lewis goes and how will Vettel try and block?

Glasses straight on I love Lewis as a racer, he is superb, but at the moment he is very hard work to watch when being interviewed. I know he's had stuff on his mind with contract negotiations, but he just seems fed-up, I want to see some of the jumping up and down and getting excited again!!

Mark moves across to try and block Vettel, Lewis goes straight down the outside of both of them, doesn't get a clear T1 though and has to hang it out around the outside of T1 and T2, but gets a better exit and passes webber on the exit. Lewis leads, Mark second and Vettel fourth as he fell foul of Alonso who sneakily chucked it up the inside of T1. Well, sounds good to me

I guess what we actually want for a close championship is Alonso and vettel to tale each other out...

So much so that 10 years later my nickname is still American from my mates I met when I came back.
