I've watched a few of these and always raises the temperature of my piss. But sweet Jesus these  s are mental! Was not particularly aware of a creationism movement within the UK. But here they are.

I watched it, lots of fun!
The good old response, 'god did it!' came out a lot.
One of the girls became far more aware though. The Irish fella Phil, was a right dikwad, talk about fundamental.

Well it's all because scientists withhold the truth...... So they can do things... What things I was a bit unclear on, but there we go... There is little hope with people like that though.

Not sure Phil would be best pleased by you calling him Irish as he was a very staunch Loyalist if I recall, although dikwad is correct. Typical though for religous nuts like these is every time they feel they're starting to lose an argument to reason they'll run away and claim you're bullying them because of their faith.

When the little Irish presenter told British  Phil, 'you exert an air of menace', I agreed. I felt the intimidation bristling off him on the screen, he could make people feel very uncomfortable.

Just part way through right now and at the point where the daft woman (one of the daft women) is trying to justify that all the animals in the world could be crammed into a boat because it was as long as a football pitch! Not just the animals that are barking.

Funny that, same here - even on a TV screen the sort of feeling came across that this is the sort of dodgy barsteward who would be dangerous and you might need (or want!) to get away from before something happened. Creepy.

watched it the other day.. infuriating!!! but when he cornered her about the "ark" i couldn't help thinking about the scene in firefly when River re-writes the bible and starts with some highly complex mathematics to find a solution to make it work with the animals lol

When it comes to creationists, I adopt the old maxim "never argue with an idiot, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience." Science, login and reason will never win when pitched up against make believe, magic and supernatural claptrap. Eg. Scientist: These fossils prove the world is billions of years old. Creationist: They were put their by god when he made the world 6000 yrs ago, as a test of our faith. You can never win the argument, so why bother. Just leave them to live their deluded f kwit lives.

Was just talking about this in the office today...I only caught it halfway through and couldn't believe what I was hearing at times.
It makes you wonder about how these people actually operate in the everyday world.

why was the scientist arguing about putting a whale on the ark ? it was a flood , not a big problem for a whale i would have thought ?

Either way, there must have been a lot of fish in the ark who couldn't survive in the flood water. Does the bible say aquatic life didn't hitch a ride on the ark, but just tagged along behind. Oh yes! Including one who has just dared tell a director of the SETI program that she saw a 45 foot long one in the middle of LA (and they have continued to visit her for years) and then worse still her comrade in lunacy claiming the scientist was hiding something as his eyes flickered when he heard the story!
And now... he has got to be taking the piss - a genuine, real 'tin foil hat' wearer?!
He even sounds like Gareth in The Office.
