Does anyone know about recent TVR sales figures, seperated by country?

TVR presence in Germany is very poor, as there are only two websites, and they don't appear like a professional marketing strategy

Nobody has a clue about the sales figures?
No weblink?

Are these numbers kept secret?

How many TVRs are produced per year?
500? 2500? 10000??

Thanks in advance,
Bodo

Strictly guessing

There are 24 dealers who I am led to believe have to order 5 cars per month so if you do the maths then thats a minimum of 120 cars a month or 1440 cars per year.

Current production runs at about 1200 cars per year, and PW wants a maximum of 2000 per year.

Turnover figures for the last 3 years recorded were
1998 £51 million
1999 £37 million
2000 £33 million

The average TVR must cost more than £33k which would make the production for 2000 under 1000 cars.

On the other hand, maybe it's gone up in the last 18 months and manybe the average price at factory gates is less than £33k.

I think if you go over 2000 cars per year you get into much more stringent vehicle approvals, including all the crash testing stuff.

Well, started there, but the only fact I've found is, that "TVR also claims that 10 per cent of its annual sales are made during the two-week showcase at the NEC." D'oh!

But it's a good place for general information:

Thank you all for your suggestions!
