And don't get done like I did with a stop go penalty for speeding in the pitlane at Donnington last year ! They police it quite effeciently so take care, especially when leaving the pitbox, the green mist often comes down.

Yes, I am very pleased and a good range of cars throughout the classes. We have the pit garages too.

32 cars is actually one of the smaller CSCC series grids for the weekend! Going to be a very busy paddock.

Just a couple so far. The class is also for n/a cars upto 3.4 litres so I am hopeful it will grow. A few Tin Tops racers may also come for a second race and could enter this class.

34 entries now for sunday.

And a good article in Autosport this week about the club as a whole.

Well it looks like we have managed to convince ourselves to join and should be on the grid for Silverstone on May 11th. Two novices but at least the car should be reliable smile, you've probably seen it before.

A good car, former class winner. No pressure! Wish I'd bought it myself.

Andy - any idea of the timetable for Sunday 11th May ?
(Could / will be an important day in LFC's history)

Thanks.

No idea on timetable sorry. Nothing to do with me and I get told at the same time as everyone else normally. Try the office and they may be able to help.

Not sure I am going to be there myself. Almost certainly working as bid deadline on 16 May, sadly.

Entry forms for Spa are now out.

TWO x 40 minute pit stop races for £555.

Bargain.

Booked.

Never raced abroad before - anything we need to be aware of ?

Notice there are two races - and quite a few of the series merged into one race - is that right ? (Massive track so not a problem)

Do you know how much practise time you get ?

Any recommendations for travel and hotels etc ?

Andy - are you going ?

Scrutiny is to FIA Standards so off the top of my head-

FIA in Date Seat 5 years or less
Full FIA Undies, suit, socks, boots, gloves
Everything else as oer UK MSA Regs

CSCC give a link to the regulations ( IIRC Roadbook.be ) , they go through in detail what's required. Dont be intiminated by the standards, they are the same but a little different, enforced firmly, fairly and friendly.

SPa Summer Classic is a brilliant must do event and CSCC make it really good and enjoyable, says I as a satisfied customer for the past two years.

You should aim to arrive lunchtime Thurs, you can do an early scrutiny and sign on and if you ve not raced there before there is testing in sessions in the afternoon ( about €150 ?), worth doing so.

and the best bit is that you can run 4 wheels off and take all the grass/kerb you want - fk Jonathan Palmer and MSV !!
