Playing Xbox on your iPhone/Laptop screen. Possible?

I'm looking for a way in which i can play an Xbox 360 through an iPhone or laptop screen instead of my television.

The laptop would be an ideal alternative monitor for gaming, but i have no idea what sort of setup i would require and how it would be run on a Windows operating system. Tried a couple of Google searches but they are just becoming very confusing, with people on tech forums saying completely different things whether it's possible or impossible.

And if the laptop is no good, then i suppose it would be okay to use an iPhone screen, which would be jailbroken of course.

Can't see how this could work with an iPhone at all. For a laptop you could try a video capture card using a preview window, but I'd expect a bit of lag.

iPhone won't work as far as I know and would be so difficult to see it would be pointless.

Depending on your xbox and laptop ports, you need something like a scart to vga or scart to HDMI.

It cant be run on Windows or any phone, all you would be doing with a Video Capture card is sending the video signal from the xbox to a different display. You might as well just feed your xbox into your PC monitor.
They even struggled to make a Playstation emulator, I wouldnt hold your breath for an Xbox one

I've done something pretty easy, if I really want to game for some reason and the TV is occupied, I use a £120 24" HD monitor.

Most of the new ones just have a HDMI-in, very easy.

A laptop will be very cumbersome and, as said, could produce lag which is highly unwanted with gaming.
An iPhone or a smartphone would be near impossible.

That's a shame, i was looking forward to doing some gaming on my laptop! Can't afford to buy another telly so i'll have to stick with my current rubbish setup.
