Couple of Mixes I did recently after getting the old 1210's & basic mixer out after about 12-15years

First one is Called 'the limit mix' (where this stuff was played in Manchester when I first went clubbing as a 16 year old a very long time ago. It's a mix of very early house (prob more techno from about 1992)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vz9l2tJp_kc&fea...

The second is called 'out of control'
Kind of stuff played at Bowlers in Manchester. More piano house

I don't have the time right now to sit and listen all the way though but I would imagine that both mixes have some tunes of interest to me if not the whole set, so I appreciate your effort. It might have to wait until the weekend..

If you're thinking of making it a regular thing it might be worth signing up to SoundCloud, and for those who are annoying like myself I always find it helpful having a tracklist with timestamps!

Cheers.

good idea about listing the records, will have a look through them an put a list up when I get chance

Tried soundcloud, but only allows you 120mins for free (so one mix really) so can;t store more than 120mins without paying (and I'm cheap)

Having two toddlers doesn't free up much time to spend on the decks!

Here's recent mix of vinyl played at the Zone in Blackpool early mid 90's

It's mostly Italian piano house

No chance of an mp3 version of the first mix is there? That brings back a lot of memories - in fact I think I've got most of those tracks on vinyl in the garage somewhere, must dig them out at some point.

They will be worth a few £!

I have another mix similar to that I need to upload (will do this week)
I do have it on mp3 but how can I post/link that? (Sorry I'm not very technical, took me 15yrs to record onto a PC rather than tape cassette!)

Very likely, but don't think I could ever part with it, it's the only thing I've ever really 'collected' and love the nostalgia it invokes

Good question, so many ways, you could stick it on Dropbox - free to sign up and easy to use/share stuff.

Y'know, because you put "house" I didn't bother. But now I've just listened to a bit of the first mix. It's not really house... more hardcore? Wonder how I can download it.

Your right it's early hardcore (I used to call it techno before it went into so many genres)

Ive got another mix like this, will upload this week and look at putting them on that Dropbox suggested above

No cd's or mixing programmes just plain old vinyl and very basic mixer

Question about the Bowlers mix: Is Know How "in" most of the way through Papua New Guinea or is it a a remix of PNG? I presume it's the former and if so cool!
