Has anyone had any experience of this? We were talking to the doc yesterday and she handed us a leaflet. It was about the above and the doc set-off telling us the benefits. Basically, if in later life Chilli jnr should be unlucky to contract a life threatening illness (her example was leukemia) then stem cells from this frozen blood could be used to treat the condition and potentially save his life.

I'm just about to start some research, but wondered what you think about this? My dilemma is that's its not cheap. Whilst it would be a lovely back-up to have, at almost GBP4k it's a load of cash. However, should it even be about money? If it was free then I wouldn't be raising the question.

...or is this just a sales push and the benefits are either unfounded, untested, or not as radical as I was led to believe?
