Where was this?!
G2L = Gateway2lease.

Deals are all gone now though im afraid.
Ah yeah I've already been looking on there, I'm hoping a few more may pop up. I'm pretty much ready to order as we speak!

I thought a Range was a good idea, unfortunately dragging the best part of 3 tonne around on 180 ponies doesn't live up to my S3 or R32!

Mine in coming up to 12,000 and is predicting a service at 25,000 miles. It asked for 1l of oil last week though.
I'm glad you mentioned this. I've done 320 miles and mine has dropped to 18k and i'm following the running in procedure by the book! If it carries on like this it'll need a service at 6k hehe

What oil did you use?

Within the first 1k ours dropped to 18k for the next service. It then went back up to 19k and has been there since.

Brake pads have another 35k left too.

It will still need a service though before the lease ends based on time rather than mileage.

What if you hand it back a week early thus avoiding the two year deadline?

Delivery driver told me if i don't intend on keeping the car, and don't hit 19k to not bother with a service..

Just finished a £10 MPG test. Roughly 7.7 litres and pump to pump was 50.1 miles. Works out just shy of 30MPG and that was purely urban. Stuck £20 and went home the long way along M'way. First time on the M'way and in Sport mode all the way. Jesus! biggrinbiggrin

Ah - not sure, I drove it to the nearest BMW gargage and asked them to top it up - was part of the service pack

Ok, i'll check the owners manual about the oil on the dash display smile

I took my mate out in mine last night, I think I may have frightened him a bit as he didn't want to have a drive, that's the first one he's refused of the many I've offered. I've had to set the speed warning as it's getting very easy to fly down a and b roads.

I've asked my local dealer about setting a key profile so the sport setting is on by default but they don't think it's possible frown

I'm still waiting for CVL to take the deposit, does anyone know how long they usually take?

Yours is through Knights isn't it? Who have you been dealing with at the dealership? I want to contact someone at Knights and find out when it is arriving with them and how long until I can collect...

What kind of reactions have people been getting from other road users? I've been quite surprised, been asked on a couple of occasions at the fuel pumps by people genuinely interested in the car, what engine etc. Wasnt really expecting that as the car is pretty subtle to be honest.

Michelle is the corporate contact there, but I've only spoken to them to confirm something about delivery. Until then everything has been through CVL.

Have you got an email address for her? Want to try and get an answer this weekend so I can book some annual leave to pick it up....

FWIW mine is being flatbedded to me and I'm about 130 miles away from the dealer.

2 people have asked me if it's a diesel before I've started it up rolleyeshehe

2 different Astra VXR's have sat on my rear bumper wanting to race - i'm still running it in so let them go (not that i'm in to road racing).

My neighbour loves the sound on start up.

That's handy laugh

Wish they did the cold start noise and popping all the time, assuming everyone has had a little rev when cold (I know!) when the flap is shut.

Hi very close to ordering one of these -manual, still wondering about colours and options in particular

-HK speakers vs BMW advanced speakers
- what is so good about adaptive suspension?
- business vs pro satnav
- enhanced bluetooth

any opinion/experience on these would be appreciated

Mine arrived biggrin (CVL, 1st week of Jan order, base spec)

Very different hand over experience from you guys, he parked the car on my drive (it came out of a box lorry), he told me to check it over then gave me the keys, had me sign the paperwork and left.

No checking for insurance, no "telling me the controls" (thankfully). I'm not complaining, just saying.

Mine arrived with 7 miles on. Just had it out for a hoon and my suspicions are confirmed. While it's a VERY good every day car, it's not special like an M car, and maybe I've been spoilt by the M3 noise but it sounds pretty poor too.

Also, for some reason I was CONVINCED even the base spec came with satnav. Apparently not frown Has this been a change recently?

The new steering wheel is lovely, and the speed limiter is a good enough replacement for not being able to spec the comfort pack
