Not 100% sure but thought it would still need a service on time even if mileage is not exceeded? Could be wrong though.
I think you can service it one month late and be within what is deemed acceptable. Check Coast to coast cars for a good guideline. I got mine from a BMW dealer last May when contribution was £1750 and 13% from the dealer. The BMW FS contribution from BMW FS was £500 for borrowing £5k which I settled at not cost. Overall saving was 20.5% off list. Contribution changes every quarter so this may be obsolete. There may be an additional loyalty contribution too.

Plan to hand mine back in March. Hoping to avoid a service. Is this possible? Will ask about extending however.
It's on 14000 miles right now, but not been used in 6 weeks. It goes weeks and months without being used, then a feel bad and take it to Germany, then feel bad I'll go over allowance.
Reckon it will end up on 18000 with 2-3mm on tyres, which I will be happy with.
Ive just handed mine back as I got offered a great deal on a C-Class (hardly a rival granted). It's on 14000 miles right now, but not been used in 6 weeks. It goes weeks and months without being used, then a feel bad and take it to Germany, then feel bad I'll go over allowance.

So far it has been painless, just waiting on the wear and tear report to come through.....
Got another 5 months left on ours
So far it's on 19k miles with the service saying it's not due for another 6k, or Jan 2016.
We are about 3k miles over the miles so far, so there will be a bill for £250 or so at the end.
Considering handing it back early to avoid the service cost, and also because it's no longer big enough for our expanding family.
Great car, but sadly too small. I did ask just out of interest what the purchase price would be right now and it was £23.5k. It was £35k list and we've so far paid out £7k in lease costs. So it would be like getting a 15% discount, plus an 18 month test drive, interest free, plus having about £750 in VED paid for us.
So if we did buy it (which we won't), it wouln't have been such a bad way to buy compared to buying new.
It's a superman colour 5dr manual, which i'm sure i remember a few people really wanting. Would be a good motor for someone as it's had an easy life (hence the loooong interval to the service).

Nah the Mrs wants a Mini Countryman/Paceman.Oh, and 340i next, Sir?
I fancy an 08+ 325i auto. I think the 3.0 engine really suits an auto. If there was a great deal on a 340i touring i'd be interested, but it would have to be amazing.

Hi. My son got a good deal at Halliwell Jones North Wales. We had the service pack thrown in as well. He even got the payments down a little . They have an example on their website.
I've been quoted same deal but £1,250 deposit as opposed to £1,999 and a lower GFV (not sure if that is a good or bad thing, if you want to buy it I guess it is good that the GFV is lower)....PTF said:

A £35k M135i would have been available for £28k cash for a couple of years so lease seems the more expensive option. Not to mention how well they sell privately, yielding another £1k compared to trade. So if we did buy it (which we won't), it wouln't have been such a bad way to buy compared to buying new.).

How are you getting on with yours now? Thinking about one of these to replace the Mini sooner or later.Only done 2,000 road miles so a little early... If you manage your own expectation that it's no sports car, then it's a great package, it does so many jobs so brilliantly, yet does none greatly apart from being stupidly quick in a straight line (which is irrelevant to me). I will know more after my forthcoming Spa+Ring trip though...

It really needs a diff, otherwise a great all rounder.
I believe there is an option of a diff (dealer fit option apparently) for it which I understand few people take.... see http://www.evo.co.uk/bmw/m135i/15492/bmw-m135i-rev...Not to turn this into a Mini thread but I am also interested in reports from M135i owners who previously owned a Mini.
I'm looking to replace our R56 Cooper S due to extreme oil consumption but I'm worried the M135i might be extremely fast but boring in the city. Mini is pretty much fun everywhere (when it's not busy lunching its engine).

I replaced my GP1 with an M135i, but after 2 months bought another R53 MCS for fun.I'm looking to replace our R56 Cooper S due to extreme oil consumption but I'm worried the M135i might be extremely fast but boring in the city. Think that says it all really
Its one of those cars that i cant wait to get rid of, but when i do, ill probably realise how good it was.
