Little bit of Friday viewing! Shot these pair during a road trip Germany to Italy and back; frantic stuff but got the chance to stop at some nice spots....

Few more here if you're interested: http://www.stevehallphotography.net/918_P1 and this is the article www.classicdriver.com/en/article/cars/hypercar-sho...
Excellent shots, any chance of some 1600x1050+ versions? I need some new desktop wallpaper!

That is such a beautiful bottom third of a shot, with a nice top one but completely ruined by st middle. frown

The gravel road to the left, all the gravel where the tarmac ends, all sharp and beautifully distracting. It really ruins such an awesome otherwise shot. I would move/ask for the car to be moved closer to the edge or shoot at low aperture to blur it out.

Oh come on rolleyes TOO SHARP for how distracting it is. Better?

Do you only expect people to say "wow, you're awesome and this is the best photo I've ever seen" ? This is not Flickr. I love when people on here share CONSTRUCTIVE criticism on my photos, it teaches me sth and lets me see things from other people's perspective.

That's someone else you're thinking of, petal. Do you expect people not to point it out if you post bks?

FFS grow up. I don't need e-compliments to get through a day (editors sending money is a much better currency). But do you expect people not to point it out if you post bks?

To be fair, I like the 918 shot, but he's got a point...that was one of the first things I noticed about it as well. Love the twin shot above and the P1 on its own with the mountain backdrop.

I almost don't want to say anything in case he gets upset but I agree

Bloody hell, it's a photograph. Say what you like about it, my life will carry on just the same. I just pointed out that this: "The gravel road to the left, all the gravel where the tarmac ends, all sharp and beautifully distracting." was not quite true, as in the 100% crop. Would I have shot it differently with more time, and different circumstances? Almost certainly. I was lucky to grab the amount of time I did, given this was midway through a roadtrip, not a specifically setup editorial piece...
