On the face of it an illegal plate may just be slightly incorrect spacing or subtle change of font or a couple of strategically placed bolts - no big deal really - but when you consider the fk the law attitude deliberately choosing display a registration illegally represents it becomes a very big deal indeed.

For me there is a world of difference between printing A12 BBB As A1 2BBB, and the other method of using studs and fonts to completely misrepresent letters. The latter should have the plate canceled with no chance for them to rectify first as it was very clearly pre-planned and "fk it, I'll do what I like"
