Bumpers stock dude, as in bone stock, so you clearly dont know you Porsches, as for the lights its personal taste, its vinyl, it comes off, ok so you dont like my lights but the funny thing ios 996 Turbos are going up in value, 997's are coming down. As you went for a visual slight Ill give you that because its like I said a personal thing, at least you didnt pick on the other mods. funny thing is at over 650 hp most other owners always ask wheer they can get their lights done !!!! Go figure.
Really?! I'd have thought the first question would have been 'where did you get the exhaust???' - still think it's the best I've heard on a 996tt...!If we just all agree that all private plates are a bit sh ite, then we could move on and stop arguing about the bloke who thinks T11 ABO is impressing anyone bar some spotty 14 year old kid outside the local school.

Not really a crappy plate, just amusing M3 SUX on a 320d.
I find it amazing the large amounts that people will pay at the dvla auctions for numbers that mean nothing unless they are seriously altered. The old saying "fools and their money" comes to mind.
Still if the millions that the dvla make keeps road tax down then let it continue.
The dvla are missing out on a profit. Sell a crap number, send dvla van to buyer's address to check displayed properly, if not withdraw number and re-auction. Rinse and repeat.

I remember when this thread was just pictures of crappy registrations.
Ah, them were t' days On yet another tangent - I wonder why we can't have the American system here, alongside the current, where AFAIK you can have any 7-digit plate you like as long as nobody else has it. *Might* stop some of the spacing and font issues which gave rise to this thread in the first place, and the plates could still be just as easily readable by ANPR etc.

People are just getting too desperate.
The issue is quick becoming that you don't really have a clue what these plates really are.
Yup they are. Actual fact is any numberplate is, well really just a numberplate. And that's it.The issue is quick becoming that you don't really have a clue what these plates really are.
Anyone deluding themselves that you can actually spell something by pretending letters are numbers or numbers are letters or writing either backwards or adding a liberal sprinkling of full stops or jumbling the spacing up or using almost uninteligible handwriting really ought to spend some time in the remedial class in their local primary school to run back over the basics.
On top of that, anybody who has to get their parent/guardian/carer to write what ever it is they are trying to spell at the bottom of the plate in grown up writing needs specialist one on one intervention in the exclusion room right now.
