Great, I love this season for cold weather food.

Tonight we finished off last nights lamb, then had clotted cream and vanilla rice pudding to top off a stodgy weekend....

Slow braised lamb breast with rosemary, garlic and anchovy paste on the inside.
Served with boulangerre potatoes, carrots, broccoli and a gravy made with the cooking liquor and some reduced red wine, potatoes weren't browned and crispy enough on the top for me but I blame the boss as she made them tongue out

Trying to fight my way back onto the low carb.

Pan fried pork steaks in garlic mushrooms with steamed greens.

Fish in bacon tonight.

That to me is real home cooking. Hard to beat.

Low carb / no booze during the week and the weight just keeps falling off.

Batter poured over sausages, the question is, will it rise?

Previous attempts have gone very well and pants...if I don't post a photo, you'll know what the answer is!
