Not entirely sure as to why it's rotated, but Costco steak, at it's finest!

Lovely piece of steak, and cooked how I like it. Mooing yum
No problem with how that's been cooked but it looks like it needed longer resting.

Nothing worse than having blood washing around your plate. And it turns the chips pink which looks a bit ghey biggrin
It's not blood, just protein.

Tried to make Ravioli yesterday.

Won't be trying it again without a pasta machine. Tasted all right but was a bit thick still.

Did make some nice beef 14 hour ragu though.

How easily does the lamb come apart? I'd like to break it up into pieces and freeze a batch.
Very easily as it happens. This redefines melt in the mouth.

I can see this one becoming fairly regular, well worth the long cooking time indeed.

Pork belly tonight, was far too good though so this is more of a photo of your leftovers before they got eaten as a 2nd pud.

The old man was around, and does a mean yaki soba, very filling, but ate every drop. Fried onions on top, a good addition.

Cod and chorizo broth.

Smokey, some heat, lots of flavour and the crispy chorizo finished it off..

I rested it for a couple of minutes which is fine for the normal steak I have, but this one was much thicker, so it did need resting for longer. But it didn't last long on the plate yum

A couple from France last week:

Moderately disappointed with the "frites" which aren't frites in my mind, but the moules were great.

Lovely piece of beef, interesting sides including carrot puree and tabouleh.

Bank Holiday Monday dinner antidote to the above - a cheekly little one-rib roast for two.

French trimmed.

In to a 100 degree oven for a couple of hours, slowly bringing the temperature up towards 40 degrees.

Out to rest, oven on to nuclear, spuds in, then beef in for 45 mins. Yorkies in for last half hour, steam some veggies. Done.
