Missed this first time around!

How's it compare to an auto convertible wink

Love the colour.

It might be just a littttle bit quicker than an '86 318i auto...

I wonder if it's still running.

Nice pictures! I have a 5 door auto in estoril blue. Only had it for a couple of weeks, but love the split personality of the car.

Can recommend the M Performance exhaust, sounds great (found the standard exhaust a little too polite) yet does not drone on the motorway. Also retains the active exhaust flap. Pricey but worth it.
Thank you! Quite tempted by the exhaust, but like you say it's quite pricey...

I still remember looking in my rear view mirror down Galston Gorge...

Thought about a cheeky remap yet?

Very nice, looks similar to mine which I picked up last month. You've summarised well that it's a mini GT car. I would expect a hot hatch to provide high levels of driver involvement and entertainment at fairly moderate speeds whereas vague steering feedback and excellent refinement make the 135 less 'rewarding' unless you're really exploiting the power.

It's still a great steer however and such a great place to sit everyday. I'm looking forward to my next 3 years of ownership!

How did you find it through the Scottish winter? Did you opt for manual or auto?

DRIFT WEAPON!! I remember how much lock it needed to catch that - had such a slow steering rack!

Not at the moment, it's very quick as it is just now.

You chose your colour well cool I went for the auto based on the mini GT theme. Also specced the wood trim - don't laugh, it looks lovely! Will get round to getting some interior photos up when it's a bit cleaner.

It coped fine the odd time I had to use it in the snow/slush - not great, but then I wouldn't expect it to be. Our other household car is a 4wd X1, so have that to fall back on when it's nasty outside.

Meant to post this ages ago - with the black grilles fitted. Really pleased with how they look.

Insurance renewal time - shopped around and just insured it for the coming year, fully comp for £236...bargain!

The black grills really suit it, just wandering what mpg you're actually getting?

Thanks!

Averaging about 28mpg. But 90% of my journeys are in the centre of Edinburgh, no more than 5 miles at a time. Remaining journeys are 5% motorway, and 5% Sunday morning drives (about 15mpg on them!). As a point of reference I used to get about 23-24mpg from an E46 330i auto with the same usage.

Soon to be up for sale at just under 2 years old, to be replaced with...a 2009/2010 Lotus Evora. Am I mad?!

No, you're only mad because you took so long not to buy one! It'll be totally different. Be prepared to feel like you are driving a Lambo, the attention they get is unreal.

No.

Look how much they cost here. Then realise what a bargain they are. Do it.

Where in Edinburgh are you?

Surely I spotted this the other day purely because of the grill!
