Great photo, I saw a proper 500 on the road a few weeks ago. Even on its own, it looked tiny.
Could solve congestion/ parking problems if we drove cars that size?

Parking as well I think.

Brilliant cars. We have a Cappuccino. So much fun.

I think this sums up this thread nicely. Jensen Interceptor? Big, heavy old cruiser? No, it's really tiny in fact:

Wow.

Followed an Alfa Bertone, later model. When inside there's so much space and all round visibility. But looking at it from behind and in 5 lane highway traffic ... wow it's small.

Ive just come back from Sorrento where there are still plenty of 500s on the road for that very reason. The modern replacement seems to be the 2 seat smart which Is a bloater by comparison.
It got me trawling the classifieds as I only have half a garage these days and they look fun with no danger of loosing the licence.

Actually, all things considered I don't think McLaren have done a bad job of keeping the P1 size in check....

And I think yellow tends to make cars look bigger than a dark colour.
But to put this in context, where's the 3rd person going to sit in the P1?

The F1 was a masterpiece of packaging and design.

Spotted this Fiat 500 original in its natural terrain in the southern Italian town of Alberrobello dwarfed by its modern Big Brother......

The comparatively huge Peugeot 505 as compared to a Honda Civic:

They really aren't that far apart in size

I have a TR6, it's 4'11" wide, and a Landrover Lightweight which is 5'0".
No way do modern cars need to be so wide.
