Rightly or wrongly its lucky for them that the general public in this country haven't reacted physically to this, Im sure if the situation was reversed there would be more attacks and revenge. I'm not condoning this by the way but like most people Im disgusted and angry that young girls have knowingly been "sacrificed" with seemingly no care or interest. Is that how worthless these girls are considered by all involved ?

There has been very little in the way of "Panorama" style docs highlighting the abuse

I am reminded that "People who are afraid to sacrifice somebody have no business talking about a common purpose".

Plenty more to come on this frankly.

Think that it's difficult to build any more anger for these Pakistani criminals. At least no more than the anger at the other groups of abusers, priests, celebrities, politicians etc.

I think my real venom is building for the people who had a duty of care, were paid for that and failed in that care.

Now that it's surfaced in Liverpool, and let's face it, nobody whinges like Scousers, wonder if there will be an anti officials campaign with any weight.

Meanwhile in the Mail former DI Buglass from Gtr Manchester Police public protection unit reports that she identified 35 children 10 perpetrators and 40 other suspects only to be told that the target driven culture meant that it would only be dealt with if bosses chose to deal with it and to move on and catch some car thieves.

There are 1.5 million street kids in Pakistan -- an estimated 90% of them have been sexually abused at some point in their lives.

Rape in Pakistan is so common, it’s barely taboo. Last week the Daily Mail interviewed a bus driver from Peshawar who says, after his shift is over, he likes to go into the slums and rape street kids. Sometimes he pays them a dollar. But often he doesn’t – he just joins in a big gang rape.

You can ask all you want, but you will only get lies. The punishment must match the crime- a minimum of 20 years imprisonment will focus attention.

Woman's Hour on Radio 4 was on the case in Rochdale back in 2007 I think before that broke. Subsequent stuff on Radio 4 has mentioned that big business going into the 'Care' industry means that many troubled youngsters are shipped to Roachdale where there are many childrens' homes due to the cost of property. Kids from other social services depts around the country were being 'housed' there. I think one of the programmes said that an investor in one of the companies working in that field was the pension fund for Canadian Teachers. Looking after troubled kids is an opportunity to make money, not just for the rapist pimps.

That sounds like Friday's World at One on BBC Radio 4. From 30 seconds in to one minute in 'The bottom line is it's not a vote winner' says a former police officer:

Target culture and the need to make money on Social Services is part of the problem?

+ chemical castration.

...and while we're at it can we outlaw political correctness?

Now if only UKIP would add that to their manifesto.

FFS just what the juddering hell are these people using to keep their ears apart?

Ok so it's the Fail but original report in the Times.

28 year old woman in Rotherham sees man walking in the street. This man groomed and abused her when she was 15. She confronts him.

Van load of coppers roll up, arrest her, fling her up against a wall and take her off to the nick, where she is so badly treated that, when SYP finally realise she is someone they have been wanting to speak to over the abuse, she says she won't talk to them on grounds of lack of trust.

Complaint against the man has yet to be recorded by the police they were tasked to interview the woman after she had spoken to a partner organisation. Turned out fairly quickly when suspected racial confrontation.

Who is sending her death threats? it wouldn't be ordinary members of the public, would it?

If true, what a thoroughly rotten state of affairs the UK is now in.

Don't you just love the "smooth speak" they talk:

"'Whilst she was in custody officers realised the identity of the woman and made SENSITIVE ENQURIES with her regarding her previous allegation.

'The woman chose not to speak with the officers at this current time but plans are in place to find an APPROPRIATE way to WORK WITH and offer her the SUPPORT she needs to come forward.'

Err how about nicking the chap ? That might offer her some support.
It just shows how TOTALLY fooked up the countrys become. The police have lost the plot completely and "smooth speak" crap and touchy feely politically correct tosh is all around.
When did the country lose its self respect ?

Yep that's Labour for you. In charge of a banana republic.

Breaking news that PCC Shaun Wright has resigned.

So either his bribe sorry, meant pension plan deal had been confirmed or he has finally discovered his sense of shame and general moral decency.

I'm thinking its the first one.

Two other things.

1.) Only reported by the BBC as of 2 minutes ago. Daily Fail and the Torygraph sites have yet to report it so I'm guessing the beebs contacts at Common Purpose South Yorkshire Police got them the scoop first.

2) What the juddering fk is this supposed to mean?
“On resigning, I therefore truly wish the force, all the very best in continuing the journey of positive transformational change of those essential services which protect and support our most vulnerable people.”

3.) No mention of the words Rotherham or sorry in his statement.

It reveals the mindset of this new ungovernable elite.

There's an almost cult-like brainwashed disconnect between the way they and the rest of the populace think, utterly righteous in their belief that they are doing what's best for the rest of us despite a mountain of evidence to the contrary.

There does seem to be a common purpose here ?

Hmm I'm more in favour of castration by chemicals (a reasonably concentrated Hydrochloric acid should do the trick).
