My 1979 Mercedes 450SL
Discussion
Picked this car up from the bodyshop this morning, was purchased back in September.
Since ownership, I've had it resprayed, and put a new set of wheels on her.
Before I lock her up for the winter, thought I'd show the folk of PH, get their opinions ... And in given time, replace that stereo unit!
So, what do we all think?

To be honest, I've not even noticed the door sills! The guy that does it for me is related to the wife, I'll give it a look tomorrow.
Initially, I was in two minds about the wheels, decided in the end to throw them on, obviously everyone's entitled to their opinion.
Nonetheless, thanks for the comments!

I've fancied a "Dallas" Merc SL (R107) for years. My elderly neighbour has a beauty, an 89 300SL in red with cream leather, all original. Just waiting for him to die so I can take advantage of his distraught wife
I'd prefer a 6 cylinder. Those cars aren't about speed for me, just wafting around, so may as well do it as economically as possible.
OP, get shot of those wheels and get some original ones back on it.
