It appears to be a really nice car for the money, perhaps it's just the time of year or the general economic climate. If I'm being really picky with the advert (and I don't mean to sound patronising) the grammer and punctuation needs a little work. Perhaps you could post a request in the lounge to see if there is anyone who could help you write snappier text. Might help you post a link here so that others can have a look and critique without making too much effort to find it. Good luck.
Yes. The odd capital letter here and there wouldn't go amiss. Current text doesn't give a good impression. And change the technical information to remove the supercharger.
Car looks good. Photos nice; possibly a little dark in places but the contrast shows off the car well. No picture of the near side may cause questions to be asked.

Most people acquiring pre owned look to have an approved warranty to potentially protect against unknown costs. I appreciate that you have noted all the big bill items have recently been paid.
The only other aspect would be the price. It depends how keen you are to move the car on?
Dealers are an easy route to a trouble free sale, you avoid the neck ache of dealing with an unknown element put you pay for the privilege.

Basically not enough attention to detail.
Technical innacuracies would make me wonder if anything in the description is correct.
The text reads as if it's being sold by a market trader and there are spelling mistakes.
I must admit if I was looking for one and saw your advert I would not bother. It all say's
beware! Especially for a private sale.

For sale is my DB7 Vantage to make way for the arrival of a new car.
The car is fitted with the rare 6 speed manual gearbox and the combination of this and the factory-fitted sports exhaust turn the DB7 Vantage into a proper driver's car which is far more involving than the automatic or TouchTronic gearboxes that I tested.
This example was by far the best I looked at and is in immaculate condition throughout. It's a high specification model including the factory sports exhaust, heated seats, front and rear parking sensors, front and rear heated screens and premium Becker sound system with sat nav; all correct Aston Martin factory fitted.
The car has a full and comprehensive service history from Aston Martin main dealers and therefore runs and drives perfectly with no faults. All the big bill items have been recently done such as the coil pack, brake discs and an air conditioning overhaul.
It has a recent MOT test, is HPI clear and can be sold with a fresh service and inspection from an Aston Martin specialist if the right deal can be arranged.
Please ring for any further details and full specification.

Are the tyres good and are they Toyos or Bridgestones
How long is the MOT
How long have you owned it
What are the actual interior and exterior colours
If you are an AMOC member - add that you are, people like that
The more detail you suppkly, the more confident people will be about calling you. Dealers are talking rot, the manual car is just as desirable as the auto or TT. For many, it is the only option in fact.

Precisely, if I hadn't been directed to that advert via this thread I would have assumed it was being sold by one of those dodgy dealers trading underneath a railway arch. It actually isn't that difficult to press the 'caps' key occasionally and it's little details like that which could make people wonder if the seller is equally lazy about checking oil etc. 
I agree with the previous posts, the spelling needs to be spot on. I'd list service history in some detail. Last year I tried to sell a very nice 993 at this time of year, not a single call from a serious buyer, just dealers. I took it to a well known seller of such things, he offered me £13k, a derisory sum. I gave up and tried again in early spring.....some work on the car and a properly written ad - no emotion about why I bought or why I was selling, just the facts about the car - I was beating off buyers, 4 wanted the car within two days of listing and it sold privately for £23k. I prepped the car to death, wheel refurb, stone chipped paint was sprayed, new discs & pads, fresh MOT and amazingly clean and shiny. Moral(s) of the story - buyers don't buy at this time of year, dealers are looking to make a profit and make low offers to sellers in winter, spring is a different world and buyers want as near to perfect cars as possible. Oh and the ad matters a lot - facts, no emotions or chat.

Actually you're right...I'm lurking on here as a Porsche owner, just about to buy a DB9...amazing deals out there right now....maybe I should have said "not many people buy at this time of year", I guess people aren't in the mood when the days are short and the shopping bills are long.....Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
