Gloriously sunny day today. No work so decided to go for a "quick spin of the legs" and went a little further than I thought I would ! smile

Glorious day for it. Easy few miles in the Grand Union to help blow the cobwebs out after a very heavy weekend.

Lovely.

We are off to the Cotswolds a week tomorrow cycling. We had planned on Scotland but are leaving that until the Spring.

This morning's ride - so peaceful today and perfect weather

Nice, think I'll head off to Graham tomorrow morning. Weathers looking good smile

I was there on Sunday and it was heaving! Much prefer weekday rides and lunch at The Wheatsheaf. Enjoy.

Yes, I totally agree with you on that. The pesky flies have mostly gone now and during the week most of the people have too. Nice, quiet, cool rides, great time of the year for a good ride!!

Although not a fan of the parking charges.

The Spinney side is the worst for flies - I've lived in the villages nearby for almost 40 years and have seen all the changes. Avoid parking charges thankfully as cycle across farms up, or along the Ouse to Buckden then over to Grafham.

Out to Bourton-On-The-Water and the Slaughters today

And Silverstone from the air tonight

Nice pictures. I've been local to the area for many years but only recently got my act in gear with the biking. Used to cycle up that way when I lived in great staughton. Nice back roads and scenery.

Sometimes there are definite advantages to working from home - this was my 'commute' this morning. Beautiful. 3 days a week I run the gauntlet with the commuter traffic, 2 days I get to use the mountain bike and do an off-road circuit.

Picked up a new bike yesterday and took it for a quick blast around the New Forest. Beautiful day.

Top of Ditchling Beacon yesterday, missed out on my 8 min goal, great day fund raising at work.

The adage that fuelling and fluids will get you are spot on, the pace never got silly until the end when we were chasing a fresh ironman triathlete, 200km was pretty easy.

A few stops for handover a lunch at Look Mum No Hands.

Derogatory PH top photo.

Grey day in Devon, but today was probably my most enjoyable road ride so far! It kind of helps that the headset is actually tight now, and most of the tourists have buggered off home!
