Least unhealthy alcohol beverage?
Discussion
Without specifying exact brands, traditionally Vodka is the cleanest and therefore lowest calorie alcoholic drink.
Personally, I go for Red wine. Less calories than beer (about 160 per glass) and has the highest concentration of plant sterols of any type of alcoholic drink.
Try the Roman diet. The rich would could afford the Roman diet often lived into their 70's without modern health care for a reason... Unless of course they had too much interest in politics.

Just stay off the guinness and you will be fine. There is about 600 calories in a pint.
Utter nonsense, in fact its the pint to drink as a pint of the black stuff has less calories than larger. They would disagree HERE though.
ETA: Disagrees slightly as Heineken comes out less on calories.

I would imagine Baileys is fairly unhealthy..all that cream etc..and most people do like large measures of the creamy deliciousness!!
The second link I posted lists Guinness as 37 calories per 100g and Baileys as 350! calories per 100gI don't know, but I have a story about a bloke I used to work with. He was a bit chubby and decided to lose some weight, he went on the Atkins diet. For those who don't know, you stop eating carbs and eat only fatty stuff. Cut out bread, pasta, sweets, potatoes etc etc, your body stops burning sugars for fuel and burns fat instead. As if by magic, you lose tons of weight quickly.
Anyway, he read somewhere that he shouldn't drink beer, quite right. He didn't read anything that said he couldn't drink vodka and coke though. So, during the day, he was eating red meat, cheese, not much else really. Then at night, we'd go to the mess and he'd drink vodka and coke all night, topping up the levels of carbs in his body. His body never burned off the carbs he had stored and the meat and cheese diet took a toll. He neither put weight on nor lose it but became desperately unfit, really struggled on runs. Passed out on a particularly hot day, and broke his hand, he missed a trip to Iraq because of that. Maybe he was a secret genius.
Hmm... It was funnier at the time, funnier to watch it happen than read about it I suppose.

weight!
If it's about weight, then health isn't the issue. It's purely about calories. Drink what you want but don't overdo it. Actually, your pre-Xmas and post-Xmas strategy could be to start a diet until and diet in between parties/gatherings so that you don't have to go without during the parties. That's what I'll be doing, anyway. And when you come out the other side, you shouldn't have packed on the pounds.

350kcals though. Sugar and fat I guess. Same old - if it tastes amazing, it's either high in fat or sugar... or both.
