Looking for a new car and wondered if my small but stocky bulldog would fit in the hatch area (with the parcel shelf out!) ?

Anyone?

I'm sure it'll fit. Now sure how happy it'll be though. There's not a great deal of space between the top of the rear brace and the underside of the glass in the hatch. Try it.
That said it's amazing what you can get in there:-

Just looked at that thread. Brilliant, I did not know that V8V had so much space. My DB9 has enough to put my lunch in and nothing more. Having said that I got a family of 6 in my 9 to see Skyfall a few weeks back ..... wink

First, you can fit any size dog in the back of a Vantage with the proper use of a blender.
Second, in New Jersey, its illegal to have a dog in a car unless its properly strapped into a seat.

Both are sad but true facts.

Interesting. Do they make little doggy crash helmets as well ? What about a HANS system ?

I knew a guy with a dog, his biggest problem was trying to change gear, as the dog liked to sit on the centre console ......

What about goggles, do they make doggy racing goggles ? cool

I'm thinking business oppourtunity here ........ idea
