987 Boxster

So after owning a few resonable coupes (nothing fast or exciting) I decided to go topless, it was just a matter of deciding on what. After a quick call to the insurance company and discussing a few quotes on a Z4, Nissan 350z, Z4 coupe, though I would push my luck and ask for a quote on a boxster. Low and behold it worked out the cheaper than any of the other, and so and my hunt began for a boxster. I wanted a 987, and the 2.7 to keep the insurance down. I wasnt to fussed on colour, but liked the idea of Black as I had never owned a black car, Bose and some nice wheel, was also on the wish list. 7 months on and it has been a pleasure apart from 5 new tyres and the exhuast gasket giving way. I had a puncture pretty soon after having it, but I could only source one tyre the day the puncture occur, so I now have a spare michelin sitting in the garage. So here it is..... The number plate has since gone

looks gorgeous mate ive just bought one with a very similiar number plate!! fj54 also!! in seal grey 2.7 managed to get insured fully comp £270 age 37 11 yrs no claims clean licence. although dont pick mine up until week on saturday :-( hope its worth the wait!! im pining already.

Thanks guys, it really has been a pleasure to own and drive so far, bar the tyre and exhaust incident, and generally you get a good response from the public. The 2.7 is plenty for road use and me, it likes to be revved making an intoxicating noise. Mrs K1909 very kindly bought a private plate for my birthday so that is now on the car.
