Will a mezger kettle fit in there?

Obviously that's what it's really crying out for.

First mod should be to centralise and straighten the front reg plate.

Lovely looking car though. How are you finding the 2.5? I assume none of the RMS/IMS issues?

..That looks lovely. I still have a smile to myself everytime I open the garage door and see
mine, never mind driving it!

You like the lines of the engine? smile

I am loving the beautifully clean Guards paintwork - it really makes the early Boxsters look more modern in my eyes. Dont know where you're based cmoose but would love to see it in the flesh at a meet someday.

Loveliest looking Boxster - classic colour, smallish wheels and ambers suit it very well.

Yes the Clio and the AX GT are far more masculine (although I must say great handling fun cars). I would continue but I fear I've left my GHD's on upstairs....

Like the look of 986's more every time I look at one. Enjoyed my passenger ride in yours the other year too.

I will follow this thread with interest, I have a early 1998 2.5, also in Guards Red with 17in wheels. Mine is very light on spec, half leather seats and no aircon, but it is fine for what it is. Mine is on 74k miles. The front suspension rattles a bit on a warm day which I think could be the shocks, so I am interested in your suspension mods.

I bought mine for a bit of summer fun and then to sell on, I will have owned it for 7 years in August. Apart from tyres all it has really needed is regular servicing, it always goes through the MOT with minimal fuss. Great cars, just a shame they are not worth much now, I keep thinking about selling but nothing comes close to it for the money.

With regards to the spacers they were and I suppose still are available as a Tequipment option. The genuine ones were 5mm front and rear.
