Found this table of MOT statistics on the Honest John website. You will all be pleased to see which manufacturer is top. This is the top 12. 3 AMs in the top 12.

Interesting, and proves that the majority of us look after our cars. Shame the insurance companies don't take more notice of stats like these. Shows that we're not driving round in poorly maintained death traps like a lot of cars on the road and which they unwittingly agree to insure for peanuts.

Mine has always passed first time, until the last time when it failed on the WHITE side markers not being WHITE.. (WTF!) and one wiper blade.

He also put an advisory about the seat not tilting,, dumbass.. I showed a friend and operated the seat flawlessly about 20 times in a row.


Sometimes a Failure is simply a Failure on the testers part. (wiper blade accepted)

Yep, sure we all have stories where a tester has failed or advised for something but no fault found later.

Honest John site says we do look after our cars along with the other higher end brands so it would be good if insurance companies did reflect this. Something tells me they wont......
